Zerobody Dry Float and Zerobody Cryo: the Longevity Spa meets the igusa

Within the project CHŌWA – Crafting Balance, Starpool introduces a new interpretation of its Longevity Spa, where technology and natural materials meet to redifine the wellness experience.

Look into Nature is a Japanese brand that explores the intersection between nature, craftsmanship and contemporary design, through the use of natural materials and traditional techniques reinterpreted from an innovative perspective.  Among these, the igusa – the traditional Japanese rush – employed for centuries in the manufacture of the tatami, is a distinctive element of their design research.  Their approach revolves around material, time and the relationship between the people and the environment. This is a traditional Japanese value that, over the last few years ,contributed to making the country a Blue Zone – that is, one of those areas inthe world that  are known for the high concentration of long-lived people.

This is the context in which CHŌWA Capsule Edition was created: a collection developed exclusively for Starpool by Look into Nature that reinterprets our iconic products through a new material langauage.

Zerobody Dry Float and Zerobody Cryo with covering panels in igusa are the stars of this evolution.

An ancient material, woven and dried with techniques passed down for over 1.300 years, appreciated not only because of its sober elegance, but also because of its functional properties. As a matter of fact, it is breathable and contributes to regulating humidity and purifying the air, creating healthier and cosier environments.

In this new exchange between nature and technology, Zerobody Dry Float still is a one-of-a-kind product in the Wellness scene: it is a system that allows users to experience the benefits of reduced gravity through dry floatation, favouring deep relaxation and psycho-physical regeneration.

In combination with it, Zerobody Cryo introduces a sophisticated approach to cryotherapy, offering a controlled and comfortable experience which promotes muscle revovery, contributes to inflammation reduction and supports overall well-being.

The combination between advanced technologies and natural materials results in a new kind of experience, where performance and ritual coexist.

The Longevity Spa so becomes a space where design isn’t only shape, but also experience: a balance between scientific innovation and material culture, between function and perception.
