A bio-estate measuring 170 hectares in the heart of Tuscany, a sixteenth-century farmstead, a spa and a Longevity spa: it is not easy to encapsulate Villa Petriolo in one definition. Completely renovated under the aegis of the supervising authority, this estate stands in the open countryside between Cerreto Guidi and Fucecchio, on narrow roads that wind through vineyards, olive groves, aromatic gardens and semi-wild flocks. After the opening of the restaurant and of the resort, the spa is the third act of a project that turns this rural centre into an excellence in the market of luxury hospitality that includes elements of rural economy ‒ cosmetics realised with medicinal herbs, self-produced goat and donkey milk ‒ created with care and respecting the environment.
From the herbal tea to the supplements, to the four cosmetic lines ‒ olive wood, pine, oak and acacia: everything is the result of a natural choice originating from the sustainable work at Villa Petriolo. We from Starpool realised a bespoke project, perfectly in line with the philosophy of the place, taking inspiration from the harmony of Tuscan nature and the Renaissance art that characterises this magical area. An innovative proposal combining the traditional spa Wellness, where to regenerate and take care of oneself, with the more technological approach of the Longevity spa, with cutting-edge solutions for lasting well-being.
Within Mater Holistic Wellness Centre, the wet area offers a variety of experiences: Finnish saunas, steam baths, emotional areas and cold reactions feature traits of exclusive design and blend perfectly in the architecture of the place. Beside the traditional spa, you can find our Health Innovation products integrated in specific scientificallyvalidated programs. A winning combination that results in a Longevity area dedicated to prevention and anti-ageing.
Here, you can try the benefits of zero gravity on our patented system Zerobody Dry Float. The reduced weight perception, the lumbar massage and the lights activate deep mental and physical regeneration, help blood flow and stimulate the cardiovascular system. Moreover, Mindfulness exercises and breathing techniques ‒ integral part of the Brain Training programs ‒ make the experience extremely restorative, even in a short time.
