CHŌWA – Crafting Balance: Starpool and Look into Nature at Fuorisalone 2026
On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2026, we’ll open the doors of Casa Starpool Milano for CHŌWA – Crafting Balance, an installation created exclusive by Look into Nature for us at Starpool.
It is a project that creates a dialogue between technology and nature, alpine culture and Japanese tradition, transforming design in an immersive experience of wellness, harmony and regeneration.
Inspired by the Japanese concept CHŌWA – the harmonious balance between body, mind and environment – the project encourages to rediscover balance as a conscious practice, built over time through attention, listening and exchange with the surrounding world. In short, a principle that is deeply rooted in the culture of Japan, a country included in the Blue Zones, due to the high number of long-lived people.
The Longevity Spa by Starpool – reinterpreted in a Capsule Edition – is the star and introduces a new material language: Zerobody Dry Float and Zerobody Cryo feature covering panels in igusa, the traditiona Japanese rush that has been used for centuries to manufacture the tatami mats. A natural material that is woven and dried with artisan techniques and appreciated not only because of its sober elegance, but also because of its functional properties. As a matter of fact, it is breathable and contributes to regulating humidity and purifying the air, creating healthier and cosier environments.
The partnership between Starpool and Look into Nature is the result of a shared vision: creating experiences that aren’t merely functional, but that can also generate profound connections between people, environments and culture. A synergy between two different lands and forms of knowledge, which finds its balance in the relationship itself.
You can visit the Longevity Spa, reinterpreted according to the occasion, at the Milan Starpool Showroom at 27, Via Durini, for the entire duration of the event. The installation will be exhibited until the end of the year, offering professionals and clients the chance to come into contact with this new approach to Wellness.
