Palace Merano

Palace Merano is one of the most prestigious hotels in South Tyrol, recognised internationally for its holistic vision of wellness, and awarded with the “Master MOT” by Consé Nast Traveller at the Wellness & Spa Awards 2025. Inside it, the renowned Revital centre completes a specialised medical area, a space devoted to sport, and a recently renovated spa by Starpool.

The new wellness project combines sophisticated appearance, scientific research and advanced technology. Two exclusive wet areas welcome guests in a complete wellness experience, where the solutions by Starpool – from the saunas of Classic Collection to the Sweet Collection multi-sensory technologies – create immersive experiences that stimulate both body and mind. Finnish sauna, soft sauna, Mediterranean bath and steam bath are alternated in a balance made of contemporary design, fine materials and regenerating rituals like the Aufguss and the sequences of aromas and lights of Sweet Mediterranean Pro.

Th experience is arranged according to the Starpool Method, based on the alternation between heat, water and rest: Shower One offers a revitalising experience with emotional showers, cold jets, aromatic breeze and blades of water.  The rest phase is enhanced thanks to solutions such as the ergonomic Daybed seats and the interactive system Wellness Coach Personal, which guides the user through Brain Training contents, transforming relaxation in an active phase of psycho-physical regeneration.

Palace Merano introduced Recovery Station – the format by Starpool dedicated to physical and mental recovery – inside the Performance area. Here, Zerobody Dry Float allows to try dry floatation in reduced gravity, while Zerobody Cryo offers an innovative cryotherapy experience without direct contact with water, boosting metabolism, deep relaxation and the improvement of the immune system.
