New generations and quality of work – gen z
Who really are the GenZs?
This label includes everyone born between 1997 and 2012: the group often described as having grown up with a smartphone already in hand.
As absent-minded and unmotivated as young people may appear, they are actually more aware and selective when it comes to work. They don’t only look for financial stability, but also for environments that reflect their values and offer real growth perspectives.
Not by chance, Gen Z stands out in Europe as the more and educated and culturally open generation: two aspects that deeply influence their approach to career development, making them more attentive and alert than their senior colleagues.

The new work priorities of the GenZs
Data shows that about 23% want greater flexibility in working hours, while 21% claim they are not happy with their work-life balance. The truth is that the Gen Z doesn’t refuse work in itself, but rather the myth of “living to work”.
It is a generation that aspires to “the dream job”: one that combines personal fulfilment and well-being, even though the balance between the two is not always easy to achieve.

This is why the true challenge for employers today is understanding how to attract and retain young talents.
The key? Creating authentic work experiences where time isn’t just spent, but lived. Young people want companies that speak flexibility, growth and wellness.
It is in this context that the concept of corporate wellness can become an actual game changer. The Recharge Room is a perfect example: an area designed to take a break, regenerate and get back to work with energy and concentration.
Technologies like Zerobody Dry Float and Molecular Hydrogen Booster offer extraordinary support for mental well-being, promoting the reduction of stress, cognitive overload and brain fog.

Dry floatation therapy creates the ideal condition to practice mindfulness and conscious breathing techniques, promoting deep relaxation, favouring mental lucidity and enhancing calm. Molecular hydrogen inhalation, on the other hand, helps to fight oxidative stress, supporting neural function, especially on memory and focus. It also boosts mood and attention.
Together, these technologies represent an ideal combination to recover balance, focus and productivity even on the most intense days.
For Generation Z, who considers mental health and personal balance top priorities, these initiatives send a strong message: the company cares about its people and not just its results.
And that’s exactly the point. For the new generation, the future of work is not one of desks and strict schedules, but one of spaces that are good for people, of authentic relationships and of a new way of thinking productivity.
