Palazzo Montemartini

palazzo montemartini

Palazzo Montemartini is a building dating back to 1800. It is located in the centre of Rome close to the piazza dei Cinquecento. The Palazzo was established by Giovanni Montemartini, first councillor of public transport of the municipality of Rome and, until December 2008, it was the headquarters of the transportation company of Rome, today ATAC.

Today Palazzo Montemartini Rome is a five star hotel designed and developed to welcome every kind of guest. It is a member of the refined Ragosta Hotel Collection hotel group. The hotel covers an area of approx. 8,000 square metres. It has 85 rooms of which 25 are suites and junior suites, 28 deluxe and 28 superior rooms. It also has a room used as a lounge bar, a room for events and meetings with a capacity of 150 and a dining room.

The exclusive ExPure SPA del Palazzo Montemartini is a few steps away from the ancient Terme di Diocleziano (the Diocletian thermal baths) from which it takes its inspiration for its programme of wellness, including well-being treatments and relaxation. An innovative water course passes through the whole building, from the rooms to the corridors to the convention centre to finally pour in again to the three swimming pools of different temperatures in the wellness centre for a unique and striking experience. Our 600 square metre spa is equipped with massage and treatment rooms, showers for chromotherapy, heated swimming pools, sauna and Turkish bath covered in plate glass and a themed relaxation zone with a wall in pink salt and harmonic vibes for listening to music in dolby surround – through the sound boards in spruce pine from the Valle di Fiemme.
From the swimming pool to the beauty area ExPure SPA’s equipment is endorsed by Starpool.
